On the field, next to the MUGA, we have had a fantastic climbing frame installed for the children to enjoy at playtime and in hopefully in PE too.  You may also have noticed a new wooden hut near the top of the path leading to the field.  We will be working on this over the coming months to create ‘The Chapel’ which will be a space for quiet reflection and prayer which children can use during break and lunchtimes.  We are planning to make a seating area around the Chapel so that classes can spend time there and enjoy more opportunities to learn outside.  We have funded these through a Diocese bid which we made around Easter time to improve our outdoor area.  As a Voluntary Aided school we are eligible to bid for building projects like this to improve our school.

Team Orange Parents (TOPs) organised another successful seasonal disco

 'Pumpkin Party'.

As the school is getting bigger we decided to split the children into groups for the event Year R & 1 together and then Years 2,3 & 4.

Both disco's were well supported with 69 children attending the first disco and 44 attending the second disco.  All the children made a great effort in dressing up and all behaved impeccably.

Thanks to all the parents who came to help and all the parents who brought their child/children to support the event.
