We are all heroes!

This morning, Owl class led their fabulous class assembly all about remembering our heroes and learning that what makes you special is being you...just the way you are!
The past week has been a huge lesson in developing self confidence and speaking in front of others and we could not be more proud of the children for showing resilience and self belief in themselves, and in each other, leading up to the performance.
A huge thank you to all of the families who provided us with the photos of their precious loved ones who have been involved in the military past or present.

How to solve a Problem like the Plague!

This week the Plague has been detected in Year 2! Mrs Plesca made a terrible mistake by dropping a vial of the disease onto the hall floor and Mr Hobbs had to put us into quarantine! Luckily, the children had lots of ideas for how to solve the problem by writing recipes for medicines, making potpourri bags, writing prayers, designing rat traps, learning how to clean their hands thoroughly and by filtering dirty water! Phew!
